The San Diego High School (SDHS) is an award-winning International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We offer a full range of IB classes in the following subjects:

IB Courses  

These are the most rigorous high school classes, with weighted GPA and an opportunity to earn university credit. The IB program aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge—students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically. Students can choose to take individual IB courses, or work towards the prestigious IB Diploma. For information on articulation (choosing classes for next school year), click on the appropriate grade level:

Supplemental funding for IB teacher training, IB testing fees, IB textbooks, and supplies at our school is provided by the SDHS Parent Connect Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 

The IB Diploma Program aims to develop the IB Learner Profile attributes, which have been adopted as the Caver Way at San Diego High School.
